Shawn’s been doing this pretty much his whole life. He picked up a guitar at five, wrote his first song at ten, and learned how to play mostly by sitting in rooms with older blues and rock guys who knew what they were doing.Over the years, he’s covered a lot of ground. He fronted his own alt-rock band, Eyes of an Enemy, hit the road playing lead guitar for the reggae band Zion Lion, and put out his own solo album, The Yellow Lines. If you listen to his stuff, you hear a guy who grew up on serious songwriters like James Taylor and Simon & Garfunkel, but still knows how to hit you with modern rock energy. His live repertoire reflects that same deep range, weaving together classic storytelling and rock favorites from artists like Pink Floyd, The Beatles, James Taylor, Simon & Garfunkel, Metallica, and Ani DiFranco.Since 2005, he’s quiet-grinded out five studio albums, two EPs, and posted over 100 live performance videos online. He’s spent the last few years locked in the studio writing, producing, and dialing in his craft.Now, he’s ready to get back out in front of people. Recording is great, but Shawn missed the actual room—playing live, connecting with a crowd, and letting the songs do what they’re supposed to do in person. He’s stepping back out on stage seasoned, sharp, and ready to play.
